Dr. Gavin Reid is an international award winning author, educational psychologist and international seminar presenter.

He has had ten years experience as a classroom teacher and was formerly senior lecturer in educational studies at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. He is also the parent of a youngster with special needs. He has been visiting professor to UBC in Vancouver and has lectured internationally in over 60 countries and held external examiner appointments in 15 universities worldwide.

He is co-founder of the Red Rose School for children with specific learning difficulties in Lancashire, UK and wrote the first masters course in dyslexia in the UK. He has also written post graduate courses in literacy and specific learning difficulties for the Open University in the UK and UBC in Vancouver, Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Center for Child Evaluation and Teaching (CCET) and the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) in Kuwait.

He has authored 25 books in dyslexia, SpLD, motivation and learning. He is based in Vancouver, Canada and he also conducts full psychological assessments in Kuwait, Geneva, Scotland, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi and Cairo. Dr. Gavin Reid lectures extensively worldwide.

Shannon Green
Shannon Green M.Ed. is an international consultant, presenter and author in learning and literacy difficulties. She has a BA degree from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia (BC), Canada and an M.Ed, from The Open University in the UK.  She is an Orton-Gillingham Trainer for the Canadian Academy of Therapeutic Tutors OG (CATT-OG) and the Surrey College in Canada.  She is an Associate Consultant to the Institute of Child Education and Psychology Europe (ICEPE).

Shannon has been working in the field of learning difficulties for over 20 years and has developed a considerable amount of teacher materials on teaching literacy to students with dyslexia and other specific difficulties. She has extensive experience in running workshops and presenting seminars for parents and teachers and has been invited to speak locally and internationally (Africa, Europe, Middle East, UK, USA) on dyslexia and teaching literacy. She was the lead trainer in the development and delivery of the OG course to teachers at the CCET in Kuwait in 2008 and 2009 and the Australian College in Kuwait in 2009 and 2010 and for the Lighthouse School in Cairo in 2011.  Shannon is also a qualified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.
