Thank you New Zealand

Seabrook Centre seminar, July 2014 at St. Andrew’s College Christchurch.

Thanks to all those who hosted and attended my seminars in New Zealand. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone in Nelson, Taupo and in Christchurch. Thanks also to the Learning Disability Advisers  who participated in the workshop at Auckland University.

I look forward to my return trip in August 2015. As you can see from the photos everyone was very involved in the tasks and I really appreciated working with such a motivated and skilled group of participants.

Special thanks also to the parents who attended my talks in Nelson and Taupo. As a consequence of my Nelson talk the parents have set up their own group: https://www.facebook.com/DyslexiaNetworkNelson

I am sure this group will be very successful. Well done for setting this up and I know many parents will appreciate this. Hope to see you next year.

Feedback from participants

Taupo, New Zealand  July 10 and 11th 2014

“The Taupo seminars in New Zealand for both teachers and parents were practical and empowering as Gavin shared essential information on Dyslexia together with supportive strategies and effective interventions. Participants came away feeling far more knowledgeable in their understanding of Dyslexia and positive in their ability to support their children and students with Dyslexia achieve their full potential.”

Ros Thompson, Resource Teacher of Literacy
