Gavin Reid Education Consultants Ltd. is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.  The site has been designed to be as easy to use as possible, and aims to deliver information in plain English. Whilst Gavin Reid Education Consultants strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If you have any feedback, you are welcome to contact us.

Gavin Reid Education Consultants Ltd. is committed to making its services accessible to everyone, including those with additional support needs. If you use a screen reader, or some other device to help you view the Internet this site should be accessible to you.

The key issues we have addressed to ensure accessibility are as follows:

  • contrast
  • links
  • documents
  • Accessibility options

Accessibility options

As part of Gavin Reid Education Consultants’s commitment to making the site more accessible we have included some quick accessibility options, available at the top right of every page. Users can reduce the contrast making the page easier to read for some users.

Internet Explore

Go to the ‘View’ tab in the toolbar, click ‘Text Zoom’ and choose the desired font size.

Alternative text

All images on this site are accompanied by a brief alternative text, which describes the image or its function as appropriate.  This alternative text, also known as “alt-text”, is generally visible only when the browser’s automatic image loading feature is turned off.

All text links are written so that they make sense when read out of context.

PDF files can be read using Adobe Reader software, which is available for many different computer systems including Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Palm.  For help with Acrobat files and a link to download Acrobat Reader, please visit the Adobe website.

Browser support

Gavin Reid Education Consultants is committed to open standards, such as those created by the World Wide Web Consortium.  Older browsers with poor support for open standards can still access the contents of this website although we cannot guarantee how the pages will be displayed to the user.
